UPS c**sists of three main comp**ents


Rectifie (Ac-Dc c**versi**) which supported from mains with Ac to support Dc to batteries

Industrial Batteries (Either Sealed Lead Acid or Vented Nickle Cadmium) which destinated by ampere hour unit .....calculati** of A/h depend ** required load back up time.....then Dc support Inverter

Inverter Unit which c**vert DC to Ac to the load



N.B
With Modern technologies of Inverters (IGBT ....Etc) we can change frequency of the ouput Ac ...so we can use UPS as a frequency c**verter ..just we remove batteries

About AVR as a technology not a cretain product, it's technology tends to stabilize Voltage variati**s either sags or else ...c**sequently we can call AVR as avoltage stabilizer and this stabilizer can be c**nected shunted or parrallel with Ac input of UPS system to stabilize voltage variati**s ....
N.B : Already Some Of UPS technologies as "Line Interactive" , the AVR Unit is embeded or built in the UPS to support clean Ac power to load.

About Power Supply , really i d** know **** about that it is a power supply which supported by certain protective devices to protect appartus which is c**nected to & modern technologies of it implies **** millisec**ds durati** to be off when mains failure ...so, UPS and any emergency generators can catch load before it is stopped...which means c**tinuity of power to load
The Rectifier (SDU) is rectifying AC volt to DC volt, which fed storage battery bank and the inverter. From the Inverter the DC volt inverts to AC volt, which is supply the load via the Static Switch
